On Thursday we went to the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission for a field trip. 20 students went to learn about fishing and the fish themselves. We were educated in the correct way to dehook a fish, how to tie a fisherman's knot, and how to correctly cast. After learning the students were able to go fish for themselves. Only a couple of fish were caught but everybody was happy when they went home because every kid was given a fishing rod, a tackle box full of everything they would need, and a certificate with their name on it showing that they completed the course.

BIG thanks to Mrs. Jennifer Saranzak for taking her time to teach us and thank you to her mom, Helen, who was her assistant for the day.
